Should I visit the gynaecologist on my period or should I wait till it's over?

I want to be clear of blood before i visit preferably.

Wait until your period is finished, most doctors prefer this.

Yes, definitely wait until it's over.

Reschedule it. PAP smears aren't valid if taken during menstruation, so they routinely reschedule them.

For a routine visit then yes, you should wait if possible.

If your problem is “I keep bleeding and bleeding and don’t understand why?” Go get seen, bleeding and all. You do not have to wait. It is NOT distressing for a gynecologist to have to examine a bleeding woman. They deliver babies. That is far worse.
