If a woman is raped and she does not tell the authorities, does that increase the probability of her rapist traumatizing more women by rape?

It depends on the rapist. Most rapes are carried out by people one knows. They may also occur in the context of an abusive relationship.

Um yeah, obviously. Any time an offender is removed from society people in general are safer. Sex crimes tend to be compulsive, meaning that most perps can't do just one. It's probably worth your knowing that male rape victim are far less likely than women to report the assault. Meaning this under reporting isn't just on the shoulders of women.

    Absolutely.

If a women is raped and for what ever reason doesn't go to the police then her attacker will think 'this is easy' and do it again.

The Koran teaches that if a woman is raped, she is no longer a woman of faithfulness, so why does one ask such question as this? Why would one care?

"If a woman is raped and she does not tell the authorities, does that increase the probability of her rapist traumatizing more women by rape?"

Yes of course.  But we are all talking about forcible rape rather than consent based rape.  Most women DO tell the authorities when it comes to forcible rape.  It is the consent based rape that causes ALL the disagreements about "rape".

We really should be using a different term for both of these because invariably, EVERYONE is thinking forcible rape when they hear the word rape, even though most rape is consent based rape.  So when the idea of a false rape accusation comes up due to fuzzy consent issues, most people are still wanting to hang the guy thinking he forcibly raped her.  But an increasingly  represented group understands that the entire circumstances might not be so straight forward ... with alcohol or drugs involved, a party atmosphere, regret the next morning on the part of the female and so on.
