When Trump leaves office on January 20, 2021, which state should we give the honor to prosecute and incarcerate Donald J. Trump?

Looks like New York has the most cases and the most evidence.

New York. They should have done it years ago. But in this country, state's attorney generals have a reputation for being hands off when it comes to white collar crime. Especially if the criminal is rich and well connected. You never know when you might need them to do you a favor and vice versa.

New York has dibs on him.  They called it first.

That's why Trump is trying to do everything underhanded he can think of to get reelected, including using other foreign hackers, like Ukraine and Turkey, not just Russia. He needs to hold onto to his presidential 'get out of jail free card' for as long as he can,

because it expires the day he leaves office

New York is where most of his illegal activity has taken place. But there are federal crimes that would probably have jurisdiction first.

The State of New York may not wait that long.

The State of NY has a number of cases open, waiting for him to leave office.  Since that's where he lived and did most of his nefarious business.  He can be pardoned for federal crimes, but not for indictment sin the State of NY.
