What job should I take?

Each job has its pros and cons and I would like someone else’s opinion.

1st job Portfolio specialist

Small wealth management company (25 people)

I would be taking a small pay cut but they do have potential to bonus well.

Since it’s a small office I would be required to wear many hats. So it would be more challenging but would give me more exposure to the industry to help with my career growth.

They would pay for me to get my series 65 license.

2nd job investment analyst

Large company

I would be receiving a 5k increase

Since it’s a large office it seems to be independent work and not as much growth opportunities

The job would not be very challenging and it’s mostly data entry responsibility.

I could use more money and less stress but I really want to find a career. I seem to find dead end jobs that I work at for 2 years and move to another job just to find out there’s not much growth or opportunities. Which job would you take? Thanks guys!!

I'd take a long term view and go for the first one.

I'd take the first one if you're interested in acquiring a better skill set to advance your career.
