What Organ excrete/breakdown toxins from the body? ?
I was asked this question in an exam and I chose liver. I tried to google the answer and I realize that the kidney performs the same function. I never got to see the result of the exam. I was wondering in this case what will the right answers be if you have both kidney and liver in the options.

Your liver doesn't excrete anything. Only your kidneys sure responsible for that

The liver breaks down toxins and to some extent excretes them via the gall bladder, but the kidney is the main excretory organ along with the lungs and the skin.
