How far does the gap between rich and poor have to be until a society is forced into revolution?

When the common person can't afford to feed, clothe, or house themselves, then the revolution will come.  That's what it has always taken throughout all of history.  Eventually, regular people start to starve and that's when heads start separating from bodies.

Not everyone is the same. Some people work hard and some dont. Some people have great ideas and some dont. Some people push themselves to be better and some dont. Some people take risks and some dont. Some people try to get further education and some dont. Thats life, not everyone is the same and you should never expect results to be the same.

The solution isn’t “revolution”. It’s to start wanting to better your own lives and stop retardedly voting for democrats expecting them to legislate your way to a better life.

As Thomas Jefferson famously said, “Those who would throw away their freedoms for a little temporary security, deserve neither freedom nor security (and will end up getting neither).”

The fact is, nobody in government gives a sh*t about you, and nobody ever WILL. The only way for you to succeed is to actually pull yourself up from your bootstraps. Get a solid education. Fix your attitude, morals, punctuality and work ethic so employers want to hire you. Make your bosses EXCITED to have you on their team. And then, as soon as you can, START YOUR OWN SMALL BUSINESS so you can make even MORE money!

Don’t rely on the government. The government will always use you and then let you down

But your attitude perfectly explains why you’re still poor. Bad logic. Whiney. Changes subject. Always wants to be victim. Negative and pessimistic. Weak and helpless. None of these are traits an employer would want in an employee and not traits a customer would want in a small business owner either

  • I think you have it backwards. Revolutions cause the gap. Gaps will always exist. The more the government tries to fix those gaps through taxation and regulation, the wider the gap becomes. All taxation and regulation slows the economy. The government than has to spend to repair the damage. After it spends it has to tax to pay for the spending.

When the government tells us itwill only tax the rich; please bear in mind the rich pay taxes in exactly and only 3 ways. They make employees work harder for less. They make customers pay more for less. Shareholders earn less on investments. The only possible outcome is increase the gap between rich and poor. The process drives out the middle class. As the gap grows, people clamor for more government intervention.

The bigger the gap the better, you cannot move zero and their will always be people that will only do enough to just get by. There should not be an upper limit on what you can earn.
