do video game devleopers have more freedom of creation in games with steam then console platforms like microsoft and sony?
i heard for games to get trough on steam they have to be "green lited" but i thought they have much more freedom and creation then console games do due to sony and microsoft?
is gamejolt the one that has more freedom then steam?

Greenlighting a game doesn't really effect the "creativity" the developers are allowed to have on a game. Though developers will have to stay within the policy guidlines of that platform, they are pretty much free to create what they want.
Greenlighting a game is basically to insure that the game itself is within the federal laws that allows it to be released, and insures that there is no content or code that could harm either the platform or the user of that platform.
