Why is it that when one party has the White House, the other party goes on a tsunami in the midterms?
Democrats have been on a tsunami ever since Trump got elected and Republicans went on a tsunami when Obama got elected. Why?

The Republicans were exceptionally angered that a black man would ever be president. The Democrats were exceptionally angered that a guy who bragged about reaching under the skirts of women and grabbed them by the vagina and who frequently lies about things that are easily verified as lies would ever be president.

Shut up. Republicans never had the media on their side during Obama, and were not nearly as hell bent on impeachment as Dems are towardsTrump.

That is a normal ebb and flow for American politics. However, the 2018 mid-term elections were more affected by the the Russia collusion hoax than anyone realized and the Democrats picked up more seats in the House than anyone expected them to get.
The people who normally vote Republican and either didn't bother to vote in 2018 or even voted Democrat now realize they were deceived by the Russia collusion hoax. They also are not being fooled by the Ukraine hoax. That will cost the Democrats in 2020.
