Why does housing segregation still exist?

There's a reason why most Blacks live in inner cities. It's not very common to find Blacks living in the suburbs. It's probably because it's harder for Black people to obtain mortgages to buy homes in nice White neighborhoods.

    A mid size housing accommodation may house 100's of families is a small area. This makes being serviced by public transportation affordable and convenient. Could you imagine trying to accomplish that in suburbs and rural areas?

    The mortgage brokers often are that way, but mostly it may be that birds of a feather flock together.
