Earth's climate deterioration due to carbon emissions is real, why deny it?
Global warming and pollution of the natural environment is a real thing, why still support dated industrial and agricultural practices that gradually ruin the globe we live on? Just for jobs in the short term I suppose?

There are lots of reasons people deny it, and some of them are quite complex. The reason that all over the world, conservative political parties are trying to deny it is because the idea of taking action on climate change is totally incompatible with conservative party politics. Conservatism isn't necesarily about being conservative on matters of social justice, it's core is about cautious, measured and gradual economic change and the free market being the centre of the ideology and decision making. The action required on climate change needs to be drastic and immediate, meaning it's easier for conservative parties all over the world to pretend it isn't real.
The really sad thing is that we have known about this for decades, so we could have implemented gradual transitions in those various industries that would have left people without skills or employment, but it is too late now.
Additionally, because it has only been left leaning political parties which have embraced change, conservatives have just denounced this as a left/right political issue, driven by 'crazy lefties', which is nonsense. We should all be united on this, whatever side of the political spectrum we align ourselves to.
And most importantly, MONEY. In Australia for example, the biggest donors to the conservative parties are from mining industries and media oligarch's like Murdoch & Co. This is a dangerous combination for obvious reasons. Deliberate misinformation spread on the mainstream media all at the expense of keeping the elites wealthy compromises a healthy democracy. But hey, someone will come along and call be a crazy lefty communist any minute for saying so.

"climate deterioration" LOL. what? There is no such term in the literature.
We have real pollution, toxins, and contaminants to worry about.
It's up to us to put our heads together and find better ways to innovate, become more efficient, and always constantly improve - so what are y'all doing?

Scientists seem to be perceived as leftists by many on the right of the American political spectrum. Therefore scientists are not to be trusted and anything they say can be dismissed as part of a conspiracy to rob them of all they hold dear. No consideration of evidence is required.

The USA has the strongest emissions standards. China and India create over 70% of the earths pollution. We cannot control them. So what would you suggest? That we can only work within walking distance while those countries open coal plants at 10 per week?
