If a religion makes its followers hate certain types of people then it is a worthless religion. Do you agree?

I would agree with that, but Christians will deny that their hate is hate. They call their hate "love."

Who hates sodomites? I just don’t want their perversion near my kids.

perhaps not totally worthless, but certainly misguided in that area, and certainly not following the will of God.

Yes. However, if a religion teaches against that, and the people do anyway, that's not the religion's fault.

Some actually do teach hate. Some people just hate despite their religion.

    Sounds reasonable.

It depends on what people they're hating. For example, hating murderers, rapists, thieves, pedophiles, douchebags, etc. Is that worthless or fruitful?

My grandfather used to say that if somebody could show him a single religion they actually makes somebody a better person just by following it then he would convert immediately and be a devout member.

    He died an atheist.
