If I build a church to worship zombies and start a congregation in worshipping zombies, would my church be exempt from the IRS?

You would be exempt just the same as any not-for-profit organisation would be exempt. However if you were the full time minister in such a church and you received a stipend or salary you would pay income tax, just the same as any minister of religion pays tax on their personal income.

Only if you keep bringing hundreds of pointless lawsuits against the IRS to the point that they agree to give you tax exempt status if you will drop them.

    That's how Scientology did it.

Call the zombie 'jesus', and they'll let you get away with anything, from raping children to drugs and murder.
