Is it normal to have pain 3 weeks after wisdom tooth extraction?

I had a very difficult extraction, the wisdom tooth was basically horizontal and next to a tooth that needs a root canal, but that is a pain I am used to. The pain I am having is worse in the am and only near my jaw/gum line. The surgeon didn’t give me any details of the surgery, if she cut any bone or anything. I went in for a re check there’s no infection no dry socket.

I just wondering if anyone else has had pain for this long.

no, it,s definitely not 3 weeks is quite enough to reduce the pain may be a part of the extracted teeth has been left caused an infection

This has nothing to do with your arm, that is a seperate problem. The nerves in your jaw have been badly bruised and can take several weeks to settle down. This IS normal. Take ibroprufen.
