    Could be a teacher regarding your work.

    Could be an NPD love-bombing / flattering .

    Could be a decent person who is chatting you up.

    Without a context it is hard to say for sure, ATB, anyways

    It means you have a skill.  Maybe writing, singing, acting, dancing, sports.

    The ''something'' is a skill.

    It DOES NOT mean they like you.
