Can eating fried food make you become a diabetic at all?

If it's cooked in refined oils (vegetable oil or seed oil) it's not good you at all. Those fats are unhealthy fats.
Cooked in lard? Or butter. Or avocado or olive oil. Or coconut oil. These are healthy fats.
And what sort of food is being fried? It would depend upon the food which is being cooked, too.
Processed foods, refined oils/fats and sugar is what leads to diabetes

if you're talking about type 2 no. adult onset has a genetic component. diabetes is about sugar metabolism. although obesity caused by eating too much fried food will be a contributing factor to becoming a diabetic.
