Are Australia's international airports open 24/7 to deal with the enormous influx of economic growth migrants?

If you've ever been to the airport at 5am, you'll know that just because the airport is open doesn't mean it has a big influx of people/passengers most the shops are all closed except maybe mcdonalds, and the airport is practically empty except for a couple of people getting a cheap flight out the country

There is generally a break in arrivals from about 1 a.m. through to 5.00 a.m. The airports remain open though.

They are not open 24/7 as international travel to and from Australia is relatively low compared to most developed countries.
