Caregiver is broad. An RN is a sort of caregiver

In what setting?
In general, an RN can do anything that a care-giver can do ...but also a lot of things that a care-giver can not.
What is the actual topic of your essay? Are you trying to compare/contrast or to present a particular point of view? Both? Neither?

They both work for a paycheck.

they both would do basic human care (or they could), an RN can give baths, feed patients, walk them, basic care and comfort measures, etc, technically although they dont as often as they used to with the rise of the CNA. You could bring up the full training and scope of practice of both and compare.

I have a caregiver and she doesn't do anything an RN is allowed to do.
