What Ad-Blockers work on YouTube?

I'm okay with a short ad before a video, but the number of ads has recently gotten ridiculous: 2 before, 2 after, often several in the middle... As far as I'm concerned YouTube has gone and killed the golden goose and now I won't watch ANY ads.

Which brings me to my question; what ad-blockers work best to block all youtube ads? I currently use Safari but I'm not against going to another browser (besides chrome) if necessary.

They all seem to work on Youtube. I'm using uBlock Origin along with Disconnect and Malwarebytes Browser Guard.

you need to invest in a good HOSTS file to block absolutely all ads.

MVPs website has one. a quick google search will match it.

otherwise, i only use AdBlock Plus.

If you really want to block ads n stuff with easy, then you should look into setting up a PiHole DNS on your local network.

It's amazing how many DNS requests it blocks, and yet you never see the difference!
