Y!A Christians, why do you proudly and blatantly defy Titus 2:7-8?  We can say all sorts of bad things about you which are true.?

"In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness 8 and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us."

A problem with Y!A Christians is that nobody can be sure that a person claiming to be a Christian here is one or not. The problem is first, there are loads of trolls on here, pretending to be Christians so they can ask stupid questions or give stupid answers. Second, there are even more people thinking they are Christians when they have never become one. They think that if they were baptised as a baby, that means they are a Christian! Isn't that ridiculous? Yes, you can say lots of bad things about Christians in general which will - generally speaking - be true.

Sure, some Christians don't set a good example. Trouble is - you have no idea if any nasty comments on here are from Christians, trolls, or those who don't know what has to happen first to become a Christian. None of that lot will give a good example of being a Christian! But on Y!A we are to ask a question that others can offer answers to, no matter who. Try asking a question about a particular condemnation of a particular Christian. Vague generalities are meaningless on a site dealing with specifics. Besides, those verses deal with Christian doctrine and the lives of exemplary Christians, of which there are millions. Why don't you mention that?

If we follow Christ, as true Christians are supposed to, we think of others as superior to us. No matter who we are or where we live, there are those who are superior to us in some way. As followers of Christ, Jehovah's Witnesses do not retaliate when spoken down to or shown hatred toward us. If people don't want us to come to their doors, we oblige them by refraining from going to their doors when we are in our ministry. We meet all sorts of people as we preach "the good news of God's Kingdom" from door to door earth-wide during these wicked last days of Satan's system.--Matthew 24:14 and 28:19+20--We truly are living in "critical times hard to deal with" as 2 Timothy 3:1 prophesied would be. Though people today show much hatred, many we have reasoned with by means of the Bible, have "come to know the only true God" and changed and become our loving brothers, joining us in preaching.--John 17:3--In fact, every week-end, between 5 and 6 thousand are baptized from North Pole to Antarctica. Jehovah's Witnesses are made up of "people of all sorts" who have come to "an accurate knowledge" of Bible truth.--1 Timothy 2:1-4--Yes, we use many scriptures to reason with people and hundreds of thousands are listening, even some who have persecuted the witnesses for years. I invite you to learn what the Bible really teaches from the international website, jw.org and Bible Teachings > Bible Questions Answered. See also Bible Teachings > Peace & Happiness > The Bible Changes Lives. IF you believe what you learned, you can request your free personal Bible study online or from the next witness who knocks on your door or by visiting your neighborhood Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. There is never a collection taken and all are welcome. Thank you for this question.

  • It's the same idiot that supposedly authored Romans 3/7 and basically implies lying for gods' glory is allowed . Or lying to gain converts is ok because later the truth will set the same ones lied to free . If Paul even existed i would be surprised but by all accounts his supposed letters serve as evidence he did exist BUT then how did Paul never tell any gospel type of accounts BUT knew all of the magic qualities of Jesus

and set near the entire foundation of almost all christian doctrine as - Blood , Redemption , Atonement , Sacrifice and mostly the vicarious substitutionary replacement concept of Jesus . Jesus only once mentions redemption in Acts and it was the type from Jewish tradition .

All if Christianity is  founded on Paul's anthropomorphized Jewish Tradition

and Titus is only more Goat/Camel Herding BS superstition .

well that is talking about using sound doctrine.

Jesus John and Paul had been known to speak plainly if a person was being a fool

    Matthew 23:27

27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.  - Jesus

    Matthew 12:34

Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. - Jesus

Galatians 3:1[ Justification by Faith ] O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?  - Paul

Matthew 3:7But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?  - John
