    Edit: another source at the UK NHS website claims that these tests have a chance of miscarriage in the 0.5...1% range, so a responsible physician wouldn't do them just for a paternity test.

    Theoretically but no doctor would do it because it's dangerous and risks miscarriage/death.

    Sure, doctors can collect cells from the developing fetus for genetic testing

    It's possible. It's often done as part of screening for various illnesses. I've never heard of it being done for paternity, but there's no technical reason it couldn't be.
