Where would an interior designer source furniture?

Would they be required to make each piece themselves? or would it be appropriate to buy pre-made furniture as long as it fits the brief and clients specifications?

There are specific stores that ONLY sell to designers. That is how they get unique and exceptional pieces. Once you become licensed as a designer you are given the addresses and you then have the required tax numbers to shop there I assume.

From a furniture shop. There's nothing magic about interior design.
