Why are Dominicans and Sudanese Arabs considered Black people. But Puerto Ricans and Egyptians are considered non-black people?

All four groups are a mixture of African and Caucasian ancestry. What's the difference?

cause people look at them that way

  • They are called black because they look african and have high(major ancestry) African ancestry and other ancestries are much less.

They are called non-black because they dont look african and their non-african ancestry is much higher than their African ancestry.

You're mistaken, Egyptians are considered black because they are. Africa is the birthplace and home of the black man and woman.

Egyptians aren't Black they have more genetic connection to Arabs of the Levant & Europeans than to Sub-Saharan Africans.

Puerto Ricans are Biracial to Multiracial with some of them can be mistaken for being White. Sudanese Arabs aren't really genetically Arab & Dominicans have African features.

Egyptians aren't Black, most Puerto Ricans are mostly white. Sudanese are mixed, Dominicans are mostly black, but there are White Dominicans.
