Yes it is.  In fact, some fathers have a medical condition that only allows them to sire girls.

    No.

The father gives the exact very same number of X sperm cells and Y sperm cells. But once in their way from the vagina to the uterus and eventually to the ovum, their fate is different:. Y (females) are more robust (longer life than Xs - up to 5 days inside female body -on average)+ but X (males) swim faster in female fluids. They can win the race if they live long enough. They are more sensitive to acid environment.

So, by her diet, her arousal, the type of soap bar she uses, the mother might affect the boy/girl probability by more than 1 percent.

That is an impressively large wad of Wrong to cram in to such a small post.

In mammals, yes. In other animals, it could be the female or even the incubation temperature.

SEXE (4 letters, not 3) is determined by the sperm that merges with the ovum. Most men produce equal amounts of sperm-cells for sons and daughters.

although sometimes things go wrong a little, and you get things like Turner's, Klinefelters or Swyers

That's the way it works in humans.

    In birds, it's the mom.

In humans, it is determined by the content of the sperm. The father himself obviously has no control at all.

    Yes!

The female has XX sex chromosome, while male has XY sex chromosome

Each one gives one of their chromosomes to the baby

    X+X = girl

    X+Y = boy

It's the Y chromosome of male  that determines if it is a boy
