No. That's one of the more expensive ways to do it.

It's a little paradoxical really. Candle wax has a higher specific energy content than many other petroleum fuels but due to the relatively small market (people regularly buy several gallons of gasoline at a time one or more times a week, but maybe a grand total of just two or three pounds of candles per year) the economies of scale absorb most of the economies of density, leaving you with a fuel that could be good, except it isn't.

Your best bet, in terms of BTUs per dollar spent, is a high efficiency natural gas furnace, closely followed by a high efficiency heat pump.

You will suffocate before the room reaches a comfortable temperature.

I've heard people talk about using candles to heat a small (I mean TINY) green-house, with reflective metal surfaces to prevent heat loss through the glass walls and ceiling.

No, it would stink to high heaven.

Not saying you're wrong, but that's not what the asker asked.

It's not cost effective or very safe. Bad idea.

People don't realize it but burning candles give off Carbon monoxide, an odorless, colorless, tasteless, poisonous gas that will make your winter memorable for the possible single survivor after they get out of the hospital.

Very unlikely. Of course, it depends how much the candles cost versus another source of heat. Since we don't have that info, we can't say for sure.

No and it would be dangerous to try. Go troll somewhere else.
