    This is maths not cycling. It's also extremely easy, just try engaging your thought processes.

    What did each one's bicycle computer have on it?  You posted a MATH question in the Cycling section where questions are answered about bicycles.  You relied on YA to post the question for you instead of doing it yourself.  Use the edit icon to move your question to the Science & Mathematics>>Mathematics section.

    This is NOT a cycling question.  It's better suited under the Math Section or perhaps you meant for it to go under Homework Help.  But since it's so EASILY ANSWERED...

    Eight miles in 32 minutes equals a 15 mph average.  Two miles in 10 minutes is only a 12 mph average.

    Most cyclists do it the easy way.  We just use a BIKE COMPUTER, which logs & keeps track of total miles, trip odometer, current speed, average speed, max speed & more.
