    Coordinates: (-2, 5) (k, 1) and (3, 0) which is the x intercept

    Slope: (5-0)/(-2-3) = -1

    If: (5-1)/(-2-k) = -1

    Then: k = 2

    x-intercept 3 is point (3, 0)

    Find slope with point (-2, 5)

    m = rise/run

    m = -5/5

    m = -1

    slope intercept form is

    y = mx + b

    plug in point (3, 0) and m = -1 to find b

    0 = -1(3) + b

    0 = -3 + b

    b = 3

    The line is

    y = -x + 3

    For (k, 1)

    1 = -k + 3

    k + 1 = 3

    k = 2 <–––––
