Diabetic type 2?

Hi, 

I’m 21 and am diabetic type 2. I was diagnosed almost two years ago when I weighed 340. I was prescribed 1500 Metformin I gradually went down to 1000 on my own without my doctors permission.i got down to 310 Recently, two months ago I told myself I was done with being heavy and being diabetic. I stopped taking all of my metformin and check myself almost daily and am below 100 fasting and I just checked myself right now before dinner I’m 115, so my question is what now. Should I keep taking the medicine? I don’t have insurance and seeing my doctor would cost me hundreds.

You should follow your doctor's instructions. Don't stop the medication on your own.

I also weigh 278 now and am going to keep going.
