Did the Epstein story get buried so quickly because both sides needed him gone. Both sides had a lot to lose if he started spilling his guts?

I think that's probably about right.

The Epstein story is buried because it leads to Bill Clinton and does not involve President Trump.

It didn't get buried. People just lost interest because, you know, he's dead. Investigations might be ongoing, but they haven't yet produced any newsworthy results.
But aren't conspiracy theories exciting?

It was just amazing that BOTH cameras went bad outside of Epsteins cell, but them sort of coincidences always happen during events like this, especially 9-11 and OKC bombing... but getting to the question...YES... Elites, Celebs, Politicians of both sides had much to lose, more than you think, this could've put the GOP-Dem duopoly via the Federal Reserve in a major nosedive, it was a threat to the Real Powers that Be, not just the major players; this is what happens when you have a monopoly of power, you have the fox investigating the hen house, it must go, all gop-dem voters are guilty of handing this sort of power to corrupt and criminal ridden people. The Epstein story is just the tip of the iceberg, much much more murder, corruption and fraud exists and will always be covered up as it is...

It did disappear quickly, didn't it? Yeah, he knew a lot of people on both sides of the political divide; some who probably knew and were involved in his sexual deviant activities and some who knew him but were unaware - they thought he was a wealthy eccentric kind of guy. Then, too, it is a story of such disturbing details that a lot of people just want it gone.
