If a spaceship travels beyond the event horizon of a black hole, can it get back out if it activates a warp drive ?

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcubierre_drive

The Alcubierre drive, Alcubierre warp drive, or Alcubierre metric (referring to metric tensor) is a speculative idea based on a solution of Einstein's field equations in general relativity as proposed by Mexican theoretical physicist Miguel Alcubierre, by which a spacecraft could achieve apparent faster-than-light travel if a configurable energy-density field lower than that of vacuum (that is, negative mass) could be created.

It might be fun to try!

    No

Warp drive is a Sci Fi invention

Faster than Light Travel is impossible

    Not even Probable

The Speed of thought would be more probable

Even at that it would be difficult as apparently Space Time doesn't exist

In reality, you wouldn't want to get even close to a Black Hole, interesting as it is

The warp drives currently in stock are not up to the task.

If we figure out a way to travel faster than lightspeed, maybe. But until then, no. Not a single thing can escape a black hole. Not even light itself

no nothing can escape a black hole not even light

FART!  Human body will never achieve "Light Speed>"    4realzzz  WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO REALIZE??  your not going anywhere,, your too involved with killing yourselves... move along children,,  move along moronic neighbors...  YA, YOU..

No. Dilithium is fictional. And what about inertial compensators? If your velocity is faster than the speed of light, what happens to all that momentum when you go back to sublight speeds? You get smashed into protoplasmic goo and broken bones. That's a lot worse than seat belt bruises and a broken wrist and a totaled car.

The ship and everything in it was spaghettified when it went through the event horizon. HOW do you reverse THAT?

I am NOT saying that warp or FTL drive will never happen, but you have to face reality. It might take a lot longer to happen than you think.

Lets just be very clear here..NOTHING will escape a black hole once past event horizon.

Warp drive,,or any form of propulsion faster than the speed of light defy's

EVERY law of physics on the books,, that will never EVER happen.

That negative mass you speak would at least have to equal a negative black hole.

Assuming we could actually physically realize the Alcubierre metric since we know of no sufficient source of negative matter/energy, it would be really difficult to determine the effects of the Schwarzschild metric on the Alcubierre metric when deep within a black hole. If we assume we could somehow compensate for those effects, we still have the serious problem that since all light and slower than light paths have the singularity in their future, it implies a faster than light path must be directed towards the past to escape the event horizon. This of course causes havoc with causality and would lead to paradoxes. One would expect causal issues with the Alcubierre metric in normal space also. It seems that any faster than light travel mechanism is disallowed by nature to prevent causal violations.

Since its only fiction you can make it do anything you want.

      It’s not fiction but science
