What was the main reason passengers on board flight 93 on 9/11 could not regain control of the plane and land it safely?

Update:

If they keep the controls up and knock out Ziad Jararh the other guys forget the other terrorist name.

They had not enough time obviously to regian control so they ditched it into a field.

The real planes were diverted and landed, while specially prepared grey US air force planes flew into the buildings.

The fake phone calls could not have been made from the air at that time. They were recorded on the ground.

It would have been impossible for the civilian aircraft to be flown at that speed at ground level. Look at the footage. The planes that hit the towers were grey with no civilian markings.

it was the FIRST plane hijacking so the people just went along with it, expecting the plane to land somewhere and they could go home ...............................

Well....it's a lot easier to crash it than control it. And the process of crashing it knocks everyone in the plane off their feet.

Get real. A plane load of unarmed INDIVIDUALS, not trained to fight terrorists, who might blow up the plane at any moment. Also, they did not know that they were going to die.

None of us were there, so we wouldn't know

Prior to 9/11 the SOP for dealing with a hijacking was "just do what they say"
