Is it good or well?

Is “I didn’t do good today” correct?

I said that to a coworker because I feel like I didn’t do a good job at work today. I was suppose to pack 1,000 cookies and I only packed 800.

"Well" would be correct. "I didn't do good" is not correct in this context.

Well would be more grammatically correct.

Well is correct as it is an adverb which modifies a verb such as did or did not.

You should use "well" when describing an action.... "good" is used to describe a static condition.

Example:  "The cookie count wasn't good.  I didn't do well."
