Is it alright for an employee to hug his or her supervisor?
Or can this be seen as too interpersonal?
"Inappropriate" or "unwanted touching"
Which therefore constitutes as sexual harassment?
Or does it depend on the situation or occasion which surrounds the reasoning for the hug ? Such as death or lost of loved one , to congratulate the birth of a newborn , to say "thanks" or as a way of wishing someone a happy holiday?

It depends on the relationship between the colleagues - for some this will be normal, for others entirely unwelcome
