Is American democracy broken? Why do you think it is or isn't? Are there too many people running for party nomination to become US president?
Is that a good thing or bad thing?

American democracy is "broken" because two private corporations, the DNC and the RNC control who gets onto the ballot and they don't have to follow the will of their own primary voters in making these decisions. We sheeple like to think we're entrusting power to our elected officials when in fact it's the party chairpersons who are pulling all the strings.

Seeing how you voted in a Con man, I guess everyone feels they have "just as good a chance" though some are proving they have no plan so that becomes evident. Only 1 gets to be in the WH. We will see if the people decide to vote with their HEADS this time, instead of being dazzled by a celebrity who knows nothing...so will never BE a politician. It takes 40 years of dedication to the same ideals, then you know where that guy is coming from.

America is NOT and was never intended to be a democracy. It is and was intended to be a republic. The more candidates we have for any office, the more whacko rejects we can identify. I think it's hilarious watching the dimocrats try to out communist and out unconstitutional each other.
