Why do you think politicians in office will not acknowledge the brutal reality about current state of infastructure in US and US Territories?
1. Based on current amount of limited roads , bridges , generators in certain areas and the overall condition of the generators and infastructure in many areas if a major natural disasters were to hit certain parts and the main road/ bridge was damaged then many people would be screwed over. Many people would unfortunately be destened to be screwed over and have enormous numbers of deaths in the wait for first responders to provide aid. The need for addressing infastructure only really gets addressed briefly after a major natural disaster hits then stops being a topic of conversation.
