    The process of “Checks and Balances” is to avoid a concentration of power of ANY ONE OF THE BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT at the federal level.

    It used to avoid a concentration. But then Trump started issuing executive orders, and Congress just rolled over and let him. So now the Presidency is more like a dictatorship.
