Yes, but a psychologist would also adhere to the suggested medical protocol- including medications.

Are you feeling okay?
I feel great. The trick is to constantly be aware of your mood and if you are overestimating your abilities. For me, mania came when I would bite off more then I could chew and then the disappointment would turn my mood into a downward spiral. Awareness is key, I think.
How are you managing that without medication or therapy?

I do have a job. I manage it in a variety of ways. The most effective tools consist of mindfulness, physical exercise and something I call 'energy management', which is basically being aware of potential up or downswings and then taking precautions to avoid mania and depression.
