If I write an ebook and sell it on Amazon, who sets the price?

    You set the price. But, if you are at other retailers, Amazon reserves the right to adjust lower to match other pricing.

    You do, within limits. The minimum is US$0.99, and I think the maximum is something ridiculous like US$200. Depending on how big the file is, the minimum might be higher.

      It's like the old joke: Kid is selling lemonade. Man approaches and says "How much?" Kid says "$100". Man says, "That's a lot for a glass of lemonade". Kid says, "I'm saving for a new bicycle, so all I have to do is sell one glass"
