• Zirp made a good point:

In the European/old numbering system, "billion" means a million million, so the answer is 10,000.

In the American/new numbering system, "billion" means a thousand million, so the answer is 10.

• The question is in English and asked in the 21st century.  There is no English-speaking country that uses the "long billion" any more.  England switched in 1974.

• To make this equation, easier, take off the same number of zeros on each number then divide. Such as 3,500,000,000 divided by 350,000,000 - turns into 350 divided by 35. (taking seven zeros off each number).

350 divided by 35 is much easier to calculatw
