How can you deodorize clothes without soaking them?

My clothes smell bad after doing a biology lab and I washed it twice, second time I added vinegar. I’m in a dorm and have no where to soak them. Would it be okay to add both vinegar and baking soda? How else I deodorize it when I can’t soak clothes?

Update:

Smell I'm thinking of is formaldehyde.

    You don't soak them.

    You don't use vinegar.

DO NOT use vinegar and baking soda.

Put about a cup of baking soda into the wash water.

    Rinse twice.

    That's all.

    spray them with Fabreeze.

  • Spray some Febrese on them.

Fold them up, wrap them in plastic, and stick them in the freezer overnight. If you have access to them, stick dryer sheets in there too. This is an age old trick for expensive denim jeans.
