Why are these foods considered junk food?

I will give you the cotton candy. No nutritional value in it at all.
Popcorn, high in fiber. Even a popcorn that has been popped in oil still has nutritional value. (omit the butter or palm kernel oil that some microwave pop corn has) And this does not include Kettle Corn!
Ice cream, in moderation as part of a balanced meal an occasional treat is fine. (It is a better option than some treats...like that cotton candy)
Pancakes and I am going to lump the dumplings in here. you could have listed bread or any pasta as well. Both of these can be part of a meal and again in moderation.
Blueberry Pie. Blueberries are a great healthy fruit. Now with all the added sugar and the crust it slides a bit on the healthy scale but again moderation, once in a while it is not a bad option. (blueberry crisp would probably be better or a bowl of blueberries would be the healthiest option)
Fish...Have no idea why you would think that this is an unhealthy option. Unless you are talking about those little red gummy Swedish Fish that taste so good... Fish not a junk food but again moderation depending on the kind of fish you are eating.

Apart from the 'fish', they all contain fat or sugar in some form.

Fish isnt junk food. Cotton candy, ice cream pie, and pancakes (the toppings not the pancakes themselves) have a lot of sugar. Popcorn can be a healthy snack if its served plain but it tastes awful that way

All apart from fish are processes with too much sugar.

Probably all of them except fish

hiding behind the "anonymous" label but asking the same stupid questions doesn't really work.
How often are you going to post a list of food and ask if its junk food?

Fish is definitely not a junk food unless it is in batter and deep-fried. White fish is just about the healthiest source there is of lean, high-quality protein andoily fish of omega oils. All the others are loaded with sugar and/or fat and therefore calories. However, popcorn is not too bad in small amounts if popped without fat and unsweetened, and with the exception of cotton candy aka candyfloss, the others can be allowed occasionally as a treat, perhaps at Sunday teatime.

Definitely Cotton Candy, Ice cream, and Blueberry Pie. Popcorn would be considered junk food, unless it is air popped. Then it is healthy. Pancakes maybe. But fish is typically not considered junk food, it tends to be considered healthy. But some people may consider it junk food or not really healthy, if it is coated and deep fried

It's only a matter of perspective. We actually need fats and sugars in our diet. We also need to brush our teeth.
