Is my cat ok??? :(?

What is this on her face? We rescued her about two hears ago and she's always a single watery eye and this is where her tears collect. It's raw and bald and looks bloody. Is she ok?

PLEASE take it to a vet

My cat was like this as well. It is pinkeye, it is worse on animals than humans. Gently rub the cat's eye with a washcloth that is dampened with warm water and then get some cat eye rinse into it's eye. Keep the cat away from any other animals and away from your face because it can possibly spread to you and other animals if you are not careful. If it is bad in the beginning there is about a 60% chance of it going blind in that eye but if you take it to the vet then they will want to take it's eye out and that could be a big mistake if you can help it. Cat eye rinse can be found at a pet store or Tractor Supply Co. (TSC). It will take around a month to fix it's eye but don't give up on it.

We are all just guessing here, your cat needs vet care ASAP. It looks to be infected, Good Luck!

id get her to a vet hunny. it looks infected and very sore which is probs causing her pain. they'll be able to tell you if its a injury or a result of being damp with tears and treatment etc

Look like she got into a fight and needs to see a vet. If the eye is watering it may be infected.

I would take the cat to the vet and have it checked out. Could be a minor thing, but it could be something more major.

That's disgusting. Get this poor injured cat to a VET. WTF???? If you're too poor for one then 1) You shouldn't have let your cat roam and 2) Take it to a no-kill shelter and surrender it IMMEDIATELY.

Do you ever not attack people or is your life really this miserable every answer you make is full of hatred?

If it doesnt become infected then yes she should be okay, with wounds you only need to be concerned if it doesnt start healing. From what i read online if you do end up needing to take her to a vet, treatment shouldnt cost an arm and leg luckily

Generally the largest cost comes with an initial visit, as they'll obvious want to get an animal up to date on everything. Other than that, you're right about something like this not costing too much.

Mix a little baking soda with peroxide to form a paste. Dip a soft cloth into it and then use that to clean the spot. Your cat won't like it, but make sure you're not forceful. Once the area is clean, inspect her for any open wounds. If you see any, apply a tiny amount of antibacterial lotion. In the morning, give her another cleaning and if by that evening she's still gunking up, you may need to consider a vet visit.

Zot ive said this once and ill repeat it, YOU pay for it if youre so obsessed with taking animals to the vet over minor ****. Not everyone rushes them to the vet for a scrape on their face thatll likely heal on its own
