I've always been very partial to the song "Substitute". It just fit life in Windsor SO precisely. I don't rank songs or albums - my opinion on them changes almost hourly, depending on myriad things.

My favorite album is one I loaned to somebody and never got back. It was the 1972 performance of 'Tommy' with the London Symphony Orchestra and featured appearances by Steve Winwood (Tommy's father), Maggie Bell (his mother), Rod Stewart (sang 'Pinball Wizard'), Ringo Starr (Tommy's pervert Uncle Ernie), John Entwhistle (Tommy's barbaric Cousin Kevin), Merry Clayton) the Acid Queen), plus Sandy Denny and Richie Havens, along with Daltrey, Townsend and the band, and the LSO.

Too many top songs to list.

Have never been a massive who fan, I find their brand of rock a bit anticlimactic. I prefer stuff like small faces, the stones, Kinks, Animals etc for that period of classic rock. If I had to pick an album, it would be Who's next because there are several really strong tracks on that album, in fact its the only hard copy I own on both vinyl and CD
