Was the store manager rude?

A pizza was offering free pizza through an online promotion that had to be ordered online. I went to the store to pick up my pizza after I ordered it online. The manager refused to give me the free pizza and asked me if I was on medication and I said no. He said it should be something I have to look into.

Sounds as if you haven't told us the whole story. Like, WHY did he refuse to give you the pizza? He must have given you a reason. Maybe you mis-read the terms and conditions and you weren't actually entitled to it at all?

Without knowing more, we can't tell what was going on.

But if the manager asked if you were on medication, clearly there was something about your behaviour that made him think you might have some kind of mental disturbance.
