What kind of consequences do first order phase transitions have?

I read that cosmological first order phase transitions can cause generation of the baryon asymmetry of the universe, the formation of topological defects and the production of gravitational waves. Would any of this or anything related to first or second order phase transitions cause any harm to us? If it were cosmological would it change anything about it’s consequences to us?

Not likely any harm to us but celestial objects are always in motion and in chaotic manner. Still the math all works like Plank and Hubble, even Einstein.
