You still have to go and see it. So the local newspaper may be a better source as the car is IN YOUR TOWN. Then you got to know how to check it out or take to a mechanic you trust to check it out for you (costs about $125.00) for their opinion.) No guarantee they are spot on, for they do not know how you drive.

It can be a good idea and save money or can be a big mistake because you are buying "blind". It might help if you were to say why you are confused.

Purchasing a pre-owned car, you can save a hoast. For the same car, of the same model and the same variant, buying a used car would help you save a large amount of money in comparison with a new car. Likewise, with the money you have to pay for a new car, you can get a used car in a higher segment.

Additionally, used car usually has lower depreciation in value than a new car since the depreciation usually transpires in the first two or three years of the car’s lifecycle.

However, you should consider that buying a used one would also bring about a high maintenance expenses.

Therefore, buying a pre-owned car is also good in case you can pick the good one.

If you don't know enough about cars to check the tires, brakes and transmission hire a mechanic to look it over before buying it.

I would want to see the car in person, look it over carefully and test drive, keeping it on the road for at least 15 min. I would also make sure it has a proper title.
