I am tired of ads popping up all over the place and need a free ad blocker. Can you recommend a good one for Google Chrome?

    'Adblock Plus' is one, but sadly you can't stop them all.

      So many suggested "Adblock Plus" so I went with the first person who answered my question. Thanks to all of you. Also to the person who said to get rid of cookies - which I will do when I know how.

    There is not any successful ad blocker extension for chrome, so you can just block the adds by changing the chrome settings by go through

    settings => advanced => Privacy & Security => Site settings => Ads.

    Hope it will helps for you..

    'pop-up' ads are often triggered by cookies buried somewhere in YOUR HDD; give your HDD a good cleaning, throw-out ALL the cookies you find, & see if that helps ...............
