I would guess 24 atoms because glucose is composed of 24 elements. Although i'm not entirely sure if you mean for the answer to be based off glucose although.

    molar mass = 342g/mole

I will guess that a grain of powdered sugar is about 1.0 mg = 0.0010 g

    6.022x10^23 atoms / 342g X 0.0010 g = 1.76x10^18 molecules

    C12 H22 O11 <<< 45 atoms/molecule

    1.76x10^18 X 45 = 7.92 x 10^19 atoms in a grain ... if the grain has a mass of 1.0 mg
