 The travel agent says the average high temperature at the resort is 5 degrees Celsius. What is the equivalent Fahrenheit temperature?

    There's a rhyme that's taught

    30 is hot

    20 is nice

    10 is cold

    0 is ice!

    So 5 is very cold. Personally, I prefer 25C (77F)

    If you enter "5c to f" in Google it will calc for you as 41F

    (5C × 9/5) + 32 = 41F

    F = 9/5 C + 32

    F = 9/5 ( 5 ) + 32

    F = 41 ° F

    40 above zero Fahrenheit. If this is a ski resort you're gonna be skiing on mud. If this is a beach resort you're gonna be very cold. Maybe rethink your vacay?

    You can actually use Google as a °F/°C converter.

    (5°C × 9/5) + 32 = 41°F (You can do it quickly in your head by doubling the temp in Celsius and adding 32 to that. Not quite right but close, you'd get 42.)
