Could school get canceled because of rain?

    If it is heavy rain with chances of flooding, then yes definitely. If the rain does not create a danger to your local environment then I am afraid you just have to go.

    If it got flooded or a roof leaked, yes. I expect you'd get a lecture on climate change when you returned.

    Severe enough with sufficient flooding it can, never happened in my day though.

    Sure it can. Sometimes rain causing flooding that blocks the roads, or even floods the school.
