It would be of great value to the environment if we all became vegans. Vegans tend not to live beyond 50 because of their poor diet. A shorter lifespan would reduce the human population which would benefit the environment in the longer term. The immediate effect would be to deal with all the prematurely dead humans and the dead unwanted farm animals and the carbon released from the bodies would increase global warming.

Vegans are evil! Poor carrot just peacefully growing away in the dirt when someone comes along, pulls them up by the hair and eats them alive!!! Cows can at least run away.

God no. People should eat what they want and vegans should STFU.

A nice idea, however, in some areas there is not enough arable land to sustain the community. Farm animals will die out as no one will spare precious crops to feed them.

It would help, however you don't need to go that far, you could consume less dairy and meat and still go a long way to protecting the environment, its not realistic to expect everyone to give everything up, not everyone is a pioneer.

Considering all the "garbage" (tobacco, grains, alcohol, prescription and other drugs, etc...) people consume, I'm certain the taste of human flesh (unless, of course, you were starving) would be intolerable.
